Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar Assembly Speaker Udai Narayan Chaudhary, Legislative Council Chairman Jabir Hussain, ministers in Nitish Kumar cabinet -- Nand Kishore Yadav, Ashwini Choubey, Narendra Singh, Ramashray Prasad Singh and many other MLAs and MLCs attended the yoga session of the Swami at a function +mulakat+ (interaction) at the legislative council annexe.

Ramdev demonstrated to the legislators how to do different asanas and pranayams.

The legislators, both of ruling NDA and opposition RJD, Congress and LJP rubbing shoulders with each other, were seen performing +alulom vilom+ and +kapalbhati+ pranayams.

Dwelling on the importance of yoga in daily life, Ramdev advised the legislators to do yogic exercises before the start of the session of the house to gain equanimity and avoid recurrent pandemonium during the house proceedings.

"I held a similar session for legislators of Rajasthan and wish to do the same for members of the Lok Sabha for smooth conduct of Parliament," the yoga guru said in a lighter vein.
